Puri, June 20 -- Renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik created a striking sand sculpture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing Ustrasana (Camel Pose) at Puri Beach in Odisha on Friday to mark International Yoga Day.
The sculpture bears the powerful message: "Yoga for One Earth, One Health."
Standing five feet tall, the artwork beautifully conveys that yoga is not merely a physical exercise but a spiritual journey fostering inner balance and environmental harmony.
Pattnaik used approximately 4.5 tonnes of sand for the creation, with students from his sand art institute assisting in the effort.
