Kendrapara, April 10 -- Forest personnel of the Mahakalapada Forest Range successfully rescued a 6.5-foot-long estuarine (saltwater) crocodile from a village pond in Pankapal under Mahakalapada block in Odisha's Kendrapara district.
According to official sources, local villagers first spotted the crocodile in the pond belonging to Nitai Das and immediately alerted the Forest Department.
