Hyderabad, Sept. 30 -- Newly appointed Hyderabad Commissioner of Police VC Sajjanar on Tuesday vowed to tackle drugs, cyber frauds, and traffic issues in the city with a tough hand, asserting that strict action would be taken against offenders.
Speaking to the media after assuming charge, Sajjanar said that Hyderabad, the fastest growing city in the country, is now facing a major threat from drugs.
"We will take strict action against drug suppliers, coordinate with police in other states, and if required, deploy additional personnel. A special database of accused in drug-related cases will be prepared, and the Eagle Team will be further strengthened," he said.
