Bengaluru, April 20 -- Spiritual leader Sadhguru on Sunday condemned the alleged abduction and killing of a prominent Hindu community leader in Bangladesh's Dinajpur district, and said the "savage persecution of the minority community in Bangladesh must stop".
"This savage persecution of the minority community in Bangladesh must stop. This is a blot on the subcontinent and on Humanity. Unacceptable," Sadhguru said in a statement posted on social media.
The remarks came in the wake of reports that Bhabesh Chandra Roy, 58, vice-president of the Biral unit of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad, was abducted from his residence and beaten to death by unidentified assailants on Thursday.
