Sabarimala gold theft case: SIT to hand over statement copies of accused and witnesses to ED

Kozhikode, Jan. 26 -- The Special Investigation Team(SIT) probing the alleged Sabarimala gold theft case, has decided to hand over the statements recorded in the case to the Enforcement Directorate(ED), as requested by the Central agency.

The statements of the accused and the witnesses will be given to the ED, which is probing the money laundering angle in the case. The ED officials will visit the SIT office on Tuesday and hold discussions with the investigation team.
