Kochi, Feb. 17 -- Malayalam actor Jayaram appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday for questioning in connection with the Sabarimala gold smuggling case. Before entering the ED office, Jayaram told newspersons that he would cooperate fully with the investigation and place all relevant facts before the officials.
He added that those responsible for the alleged gold smuggling should face the consequences as per law.
The ED is examining the financial trail linked to the case and is seeking clarification on whether the actor had any monetary transactions with the prime accused, Unnikrishnan Potty.
