Mexico City, Aug. 12 -- The finance ministries of Russia and Brazil signed a memorandum of understanding to begin a regular economic and financial dialogue, according to a document published in the Diario Oficial da Uniao, the official publication of the Brazilian government.
"The memorandum of understanding is aimed at coordinating aspects of financial and economic cooperation between the two countries through the establishment of a regular bilateral economic and financial dialogue," the document says.
The parties intend to hold face-to-face and virtual expert meetings, exchange technical information and synchronize the work of the new mechanism with the activities of the Intergovernmental Russian-Brazilian Commission on Economic, Trade,...
