Bhubaneswar, March 2 -- In an extraordinary display of technical expertise and teamwork, the Centralised Electrical Maintenance-Repair Shop Electrical (CEM-RSE) team of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) successfully repaired and completely overhauled a 12 MVA Converter Transformer in a record time of just 67 hours.
The achievement is particularly significant considering that the standard time required for breakdown repair and complete overhauling of such a transformer typically ranges between eight to ten days.
Completing the task in less than one-third of the benchmark duration highlights exceptional leadership, meticulous planning, seamless coordination, and flawless execution.
