Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- In a significant boost to railway infrastructure and regional development in Southern Odisha, the redevelopment of Brahmapur Railway Station has been sanctioned at a total cost of Rs 93.19 crore under Phase-I.
The project aims to transform the station into a modern, passenger friendly, smart and sustainable transport hub that can comfortably meet future growth demands.
Brahmapur, popularly known as the silk city of Odisha and a gateway to well-known destinations such as Gopalpur Sea Beach and Taratarini Temple, is one of the oldest and busiest railway stations in the region.
