Patna, May 4 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives in today's lightning strikes, storms and heavy rainfall incidents across the state.
Expressing deep grief over the fatalities due to adverse weather conditions, the Chief Minister instructed the authorities to ensure immediate disbursal of relief assistance to the next of kin of the deceased.
Choudhary stated that the state government stands firmly with the affected families in this difficult time.
