Shahpur, Feb. 3 -- A 500-kilowatt solar power plant costing about Rs 2 crore will be set up at Gubbar village in Pargod panchayat under the Shahpur Assembly constituency of Himachal Pradesh.
Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania shared this information after inspecting the site identified for the solar project. He said the plant would generate around 8 lakh units of electricity annually, which would be procured by the state government at a rate of Rs 3.45 per unit.
