New Delhi, Oct. 11 -- The Delhi government today handed over financial assistance of Rs 1 crore each to the families of 11 government employees who lost their lives while they were on duty during the Covid- 19 pandemic.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met families of those 11 government employees at the Delhi secretariat, and handed over a cheque of Rs 1 crore each to them.
Ms Gupta said that this was not merely financial assistance, but a heartfelt expression of deep gratitude and humble tribute to their service.
