Bhubaneswar, Feb. 3 -- Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a flagship unit of Maharatna company SAIL, has set new benchmarks across multiple production and dispatch parameters during the first ten months of the financial year 2025-26.
Demonstrating robust operational efficiency, the plant recorded its best-ever April-January performance, surpassing previous records in key areas of steel production, hot metal output, and logistics.
RSP produced 34,57,761 tonnes of saleable steel between April 2025 and January 2026, overtaking its previous best of 34,35,767 tonnes in the same period last year.
