Adokgre, Jan. 4 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has clarified that the delay in completion of the Rongjeng-Mangsang-Adokgre road was due to complexities, as the previous government had applied for the road construction from two different schemes under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
The Rs. 200 crore-plus project was to be completed by 2020. However, the ministry cancelled one of the schemes as it had been applied for in two parts from the same ministry.
