Bhagalpur, Nov. 6 -- Intensifying his attack on the RJD-Congress alliance, calling it an "unholy partnership" bound by power, not principles, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today alleged that both parties were embroiled in infighting and have lost credibility among the people.

Addressing a rally in Bhagalpur, Modi said the two opposition parties were engaged in a vicious scramble for power. "Even when they have no access to government and have no share in power, yet they are busy pulling each other down," he said.

He claimed that RJD posters often omit the faces of Congress leaders and that both parties now fear each other's shadow. "RJD and Congress are not partners in progress but rivals in power," Modi said.
