Vadodara, Jan. 11 -- Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of the One Day International (ODI) series against New Zealand after sustaining an injury during a practice session, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed on Sunday.
The incident occurred at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara on Saturday afternoon when Pant experienced sudden discomfort in his right lateral abdominal region while batting in the nets. He was immediately taken for medical evaluation and underwent MRI scans to assess the extent of the injury.
