Pune, Jan. 30 -- The Institute of Cost Accountants of India "RISE India Leadership Summit" began in Pune on Friday.
The summit is aimed at highlighting the evolving strategic role of Cost and Management Accountants (CMAs) in Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
The theme of the summit is "Strategic Leadership in GCCs: CMAs as Architects of Value Creation.
Addressing a press conference, CMA Vinay Ranjan, Chairman of ICMAI's Career Counselling and Placement Committee, said the summit will focus on the changing landscape of GCCs and the growing strategic contribution of CMAs. He noted that this is ICMAI's first-ever conference exclusively dedicated to GCCs.
