Hyderabad, March 29 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday defended his government's decision to order a CBCID probe into alleged illegal mining and irregularities, while launching a sharp attack on the BRS for what he termed "blackmail politics" and discrimination against Dalits.

Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister said the government is pursuing reforms to enhance revenue and ensure its equitable distribution among the poor.

Referring to the Raghava Constructions issue, he stated that the Mining Department had already ascertained facts and recovered pending taxes in 2025, safeguarding government revenue.
