Hyderabad, March 9 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday held a review meeting of the state Sports Department at his residence in Jubilee Hills and directed officials to develop world-class sports infrastructure in Telangana with the long-term goal of producing Olympic-level athletes.
During the meeting, discussions were held on creating international-standard facilities at Young India Sports University and establishing grounds for all major sporting disciplines.
The Chief Minister emphasised that the state should develop a sports university equipped with comprehensive infrastructure to train athletes with a focus on preparing them for the Olympics.
