Dharamshala, Feb. 12 -- Residents of Bhanala and Bodusarna panchayats in the Shahpur Assembly constituency have expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the construction of a new footbridge connecting the two villages. The bridge was built following their appeal during a video interaction with the Chief Minister.

The newly constructed footbridge, built at a cost of Rs 10 lakh, was inspected on Wednesday by Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania. The earlier bridge had been completely washed away during heavy monsoon rains, severely disrupting connectivity between the two panchayats and causing significant hardship to nearly 200 residents, including those from Dhadmotha village.
