Chennai, April 23 -- Residents of two villages -- Perumpaththu at Nanguneri in the souther Tirunelveli district and Vengaivayal, an Scheduled Caste hamlet, in Pudukkottai district--boycotted the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls on Thursday demanding justice to the twin murders that took place last month and on the issue of human faeces being mixed in overhand drinking water in their hamlet in December 2022, respectively.
