Columbus, Oct. 7 -- Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is set to urge the Republican Party to exercise restraint in rhetoric instead of maintaining its "belligerent and oppositional posture," amid the conservative movement's ongoing battle with a torrential wave of controversy.

The movement currently is grappling with both internal dissent due to disagreements among several Republicans over President Donald Trump's policies, as well as the broader rising political tensions in the US following the assassination of activist Charlie Kirk.
