Jaipur, Jan. 26 -- The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with gaiety and national fervour across Rajasthan on Monday.
The Governor Haribhau Kishanrao Bagade hoisted the national flag and took the ceremonial salute by contingents of the Army, para military forces, Rajasthan Police and NCC cadets at the SMS Stadium here. School Children and a roupe of folk dancers presented colourful cultural programmes.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, State Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, the members of the state council of ministers and dignitaries from different walks of life were present.
