Varanasi, March 31 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday said efforts are underway to transform people's lives through religious tourism, creating new avenues for development.

"Through religious tourism, work is underway to bring positive changes in people's lives and create new possibilities for development," he said.

Dr Yadav arrived in Varanasi to attend the MP-UP Cooperation Conference 2026. During his visit, he offered prayers at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham and later held a review meeting with officials.

He said that the government is focusing on promoting religious tourism and ensuring better facilities and smooth darshan for devotees.
