Chennai, Jan. 30 -- While urban centres of the country are facing acute environmental pollution primarily from petrol and diesel vehicles, India Auto LPG Coalition has urged the Finance Minister to consider incentivising LPG variants in the union Budget 2026-27. With more than 33 crore vehicles on the road already, one of the quickest solutions lies in retrofitting existing vehicles to Auto LPG, the Coalition said.
