Amravati, Oct. 22 -- A political storm has erupted in Amravati after Independent MLA Ravi Rana made a serious allegation that Prahar Janshakti Party leader Bacchu Kadu sought his political rehabilitation from Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
According to Rana, Kadu met Shinde recently and demanded to be nominated to the Legislative Council as part of a plan to regain political relevance. He further alleged that Kadu was "once again resorting to blackmail tactics" to pressure the government.
