Mumbai, Feb. 1 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut on Saturday accused the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party of attempting to derive political advantage even in the aftermath of the death of Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, saying the focus should remain on mourning rather than political manoeuvring.

Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Raut declined to comment on reports related to the swearing-in of Sunetra Pawar, wife of Ajit Pawar, as Deputy Chief Minister. He said that it was not an appropriate time to discuss such developments.
