Mumbai, Feb. 20 -- Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has allegedly been threatened with death and asked to pay Rs 10 crore in an extortion attempt said to be linked to the Bishnoi gang, according to Mumbai Police sources. The threat was reportedly delivered through a voice message sent from an American number.
A senior police officer in Mumbai stated that the message was received as a voice note. The Crime Branch has initiated formal communication with the agency in the United States through official channels to gather details on the number used to transmit the threat.
