Ranchi, Dec. 11 -- Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) is undertaking continuous initiatives to improve primary healthcare delivery across the city.
Under the 15th Finance Commission fund, Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are being successfully operated in 25 wards, providing free primary healthcare services and essential medicines to residents. Each centre is staffed with a specialist doctor and supporting medical team to ensure regular and efficient services.
On the 9th of every month, these centres conduct health check-ups for pregnant women under the Prime Minister's Safe Motherhood Scheme (PMSMA), offering consultations, necessary medicines and guidance on safe maternity practices.
