Imphal, Jan. 14 -- Various Kuki-Zo organisations took out a rally in Churachandpur district on Wednesday to press for their long standing demands and draw public and government attention to issues affecting the community.
Participants marched in the streets of Churachandpur town raising placards and slogans outlining their concerns. The participants demanded an early solution to the crisis prevailing in Manipur. They also highlighted the problems faced by the internally displaced persons. A memorandum was also submitted to the union Home Minister Amit Shah through the District Collector of Churachandpur.
