The much-anticipated Tamil cinema spectacle 'Thalaivar 173', featuring Superstar Rajinikanth and produced by legendary actor-turned politician Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), will be helmed by popul;ar director Cibi Chakravarthy.
This was officially announced on Saturday by Kamal's film production house RKFI along with the release of the firstlook poster featuring Rajini. ending weeks of uncertainty.
Initially announced as a landmark collaboration uniting two of Indian cinema's most iconic stars--Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan--'Thalaivar 173' is being positioned as one of the marquee Tamilfilms slated for release during Pongal festival 2027.
