Sri Ganganagar, May 9 -- The district administration of Sri Ganganagar on Friday declared a holiday in all government and private colleges, coaching centres, and libraries till further orders in view of prevailing tensions along the border.
District Collector and District Disaster and Management Authority Chairman Dr. Manju issued these orders, exercising powers vested under the Disaster Management Act 2005.
The District Collector has directed all institution heads to ensure strict compliance with these orders. All academic staff will remain present at the colleges to perform departmental duties.
