Alwar, May 11 -- A road accident on the Delhi-Mumbai Express Highway in Alwar district of Rajasthan claimed the life of the wife of an Army Major, while their three-year-old daughter was seriously injured, police said on Sunday.
Police said, Major Gupta, a resident of Dilshad Garden in Delhi, had gone to Kota to visit his relatives with his wife and daughter. Upon receiving information about the cancellation of his leave from the Army Headquarters, he was returning to Delhi with his family on Saturday night.
