Jaipur, July 13 -- Four persons were killed and six others injured when a tourist car was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Mumbai-Delhi Motorway along Kota district in Rajasthan today.

The ill-fated tourist car was approaching Kota from Indore when some speeding vehicle hit it on the Mumbai-Delhi Expressway along Budadit town near the Chambal bridge in Etawah-Kota region, police and official sources said here.

This resulted in the deaths of four and injuries to half a dozen others. The collision was so powerful that it badly damaged the car, the sources said.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. The accident caused a traffic jam for some time at the busy Expressway.
