Chennai, March 18 -- With the Rajasthan High Court ordering the Registrar of Cooperative Society to appoint an administrator to run the day-to-day operations of Rajasthan Chess Association, the affected parties seem to have decided to appeal against the order.
"We are exploring the option of going on appeal before a two-member bench of the Rajasthan High Court," Vinesh Sharma, the Interim Secretary, said.
In the case of Ashok Bhargava versus Mahaveer Ranka, President, Rajasthan Chess Association, Rajasthan Chess Association and others, the High Court on 13.2.2026, stayed the Association elections held on 4.3.2026 and also ordered the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to appoint an administrator.
