Jaipur, March 9 -- The Rajasthan Government on Monday constituted a six-member Cabinet committee for drafting a Bill for legislating the Khejri Conservation Law for the protection of the state tree or Kalpa Vriksh of the desert.
The Committee is headed by Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel. It comprises Forests and Wildlife Minister Sanjay Sharma, Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, Principal Secretary Law Department Raghvendra Kachalwal, state Additional Advocate General Mahavir Vishnoi and Rajasthan High Court Lawyer Kunal Vishnoi.
