Gonda, Sept. 18 -- Former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh today labelled senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as "Pakistan's favorite leader." Singh made the remark while addressing the media after a talent felicitation event held at Shri Raghukul Vidyapeeth on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday.

Commenting on recent praise by former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi for Rahul Gandhi following the Asia Cup, Singh sarcastically noted that Gandhi's statements are taken seriously, especially in Pakistan. "Since Rahul entered politics, he has been scoring self-goals," Singh quipped.
