Hyderabad, Aug. 10 -- Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao on Sunday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of being a "fake Indian" who is spreading false propaganda about "fake votes" and "vote theft" to mislead the public.

Speaking at the BJP state office during the induction of former Achampet MLA Guvvala Balraju into the party from the BRS, Rao said the Congress never complained about fake votes when it won elections in Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana.

He alleged that Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly spoken against India, is surrounded by "urban Naxals and anti-national forces," and is now pushing this narrative only after Congress' defeats in Maharashtra and Haryana, fearing a loss in Bihar.
