Hyderabad, May 5 -- Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan has emphasised the need for skill development, startup support, and improved human capital to drive economic growth in Telangana.

Participating via video conference in a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence on Tuesday, Rajan said ample job opportunities exist across sectors if individuals enhance their skills. He also stressed addressing malnutrition to strengthen human resources.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, and other senior officials.
