Beijing, July 20 -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 jolted 142 km ESE of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia at 0628 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 46.0 km, was initially determined to be at 52.60 degrees north latitude and 160.60 degrees east longitude.
