Phagwara, April 30 -- SSP HS Virk has suspended SHO Lakhvir Singh and an ASI Dharmindar Singh of Mehatpur district Jalandhar for allegedly compelling two teenaged boys in police custody "to perform indecent acts with each other". The Ambedkar Dalit Sena has strongly protested against the incident and is demanding that an FIR under the SC/ST Act be registered against the two police officials.
DSP Onakar Singh Brar said today that these two officials have been suspended for misbehaving
with people.
