Chandigarh, April 14 -- A massive explosion ripped through a goldsmith's workshop located on the first floor of a building in Faridkot's main market on Tuesday, leaving one worker critically injured.
The victim, who sustained severe burn injuries in the blast, was immediately rushed to the Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital for emergency treatment.
The blast was so intense that it shattered the window panes of several neighboring shops and caused significant structural damage to the workshop itself. Visuals of the explosion and its impact on the surrounding area were captured by CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity.
Local shopkeepers speculated that the blast was likely triggered by a gas cylinder leak within the premises. ...
