Chandigarh, April 21 -- Marking the 90th day of the state-wide "Gangstran Te Vaar" campaign, the Punjab Police today launched a massive coordinated operation, conducting 466 simultaneous raids at locations linked to the associates of various criminal syndicates.
Launched on January 20, 2026, under the directives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the initiative aims to dismantle organized crime networks and make Punjab a gangster-free state. The operation saw intensive coordination between district police units and the specialized Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab.
