Chandigarh, Feb. 8 -- In a significant move to bolster the rural economy and provide relief to livestock owners, the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government on Sunday announced the establishment of 'Blue Cross' veterinary medicine stores across six districts.
These specialised outlets aim to make advanced animal healthcare services both accessible and economical for farmers.
Sharing details of the project, Punjab Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Dairy Development, Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, stated that the initiative is designed to drastically reduce the financial burden on farmers.
