Chandigarh, Feb. 18 -- Punjab Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer on Sunday congratulated
athletes Tajinder Pal Singh Toor and Harmilan Bains who won gold medals in the Asian Indoor Athletics Championship.
Hayer also lauded the Indian women's badminton team for winning the crown in the Asian Championship for the first time.
In the ongoing Asian Indoor Athletics Championship in Tehran (Iran), Punjab's Athlete Tajinder Pal Singh Toor won the shot put event and Harmilan Bains won Gold Medal in 1500 Mtr. Tajinder Toor also created a new National record by throwing the shot 19.72 Mtr.
