Chandigarh, Sept. 20 -- Punjab's flood relief efforts are showing significant progress, with only 229 people remaining in 16 relief camps across the state, down from 894 inmates and 35 camps just a day ago, according to Revenue, Rehabilitation, and Disaster Management Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian.

Speaking on Saturday, the minister reported that 665 more individuals returned to their homes in the past 24 hours, signaling a steady return to normalcy for flood-affected families.
