Chandigarh, Sept. 30 -- Punjab Police have marked the 213th consecutive day of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's ambitious Yudh Nashian Virudh campaign with a significant breakthrough, arresting 71 drug smugglers in coordinated raids across 300 locations on Tuesday. The operation, aimed at eradicating the drug menace from the state, resulted in the registration of 48 First Information Reports (FIRs), pushing the total number of arrests since the campaign's inception to an impressive 31,441.
