Chandigarh, Aug. 11 -- In a significant push to combat the drug menace, Punjab Police carried out extensive raids at 335 locations across the state on Tuesday, marking the 163rd day of the ongoing 'Yudh Nashian Virudh' campaign launched by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The operation resulted in the arrest of 104 drug smugglers, the registration of 74 First Information Reports (FIRs), and the seizure of 6.4 kg of heroin, 500 grams of opium, and 1,092 intoxicant tablets or capsules.
