Solan, Feb. 23 -- In a breakthrough, the Punjab Police has busted a terrorist module linked to the Nalagarh IED (RDX) blast case.
Jalandhar police, in a joint operation with SAS Nagar police, arrested two main accused, involved in the crime. The blast had rocked Nalagarh on January 1, 2026, in Himachal Pradesh.
According to police sources, the accused have been identified as Mahavir alias Kaka and Manpreet alias Mani, both residents of SAS Nagar, Punjab. During the search, a 9mm Glock pistol and live cartridges were recovered from their possession.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were acting under the instructions of a mastermind based abroad.
