Chandigarh, March 3 -- The Punjab government Tuesday expressed deep concern over the plight of several Punjabi nationals currently stranded in West Asian countries, particularly Dubai, following the escalation of regional tensions between Israel and Iran.

Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Punjab NRI Affairs Minister Dr Ravjot Singh highlighted that a significant number of individuals who traveled on tourist visas are now facing dire circumstances due to expiring visas and exhausted financial resources.
